A Tribute to Dr. Kristine Webb

Dr. Kristine Webb, Ph.D. is a Professor in the Department of Exceptional, Deaf, and Interpreter Education and former director of the Disability Resource Center (DRC) at the University of North Florida. Under her direction, the DRC experienced tremendous growth in the numbers of students who use accommodations and services and the number of successful graduates increased 10 times more than the previous decade.

Healthcare Vote Expected Next Week: The Fight Is Not Over!

The Senate released their updated version of the Better Care Reconciliation Act yesterday, and all of our concerns remain the same. The new version will still cut Medicaid by $772 billion, with an even more restrictive growth rate and deeper cuts starting in 2025. Fifteen million people will lose Medicaid.
